Every new build includes the first three months of Foundation or Growth Care. One thing to know up front: care covers keeping what exists current and healthy. New pages and new features are quoted separately, so there's never a surprise on either side.
Common Questions
What counts as a content update?
Changing what already exists: prices, hours, staff, photos, service descriptions, seasonal copy. If a request starts with "add" or "new," like a new page or feature, we quote it separately at $80/hr or as a small project. You'll always know which side of the line a request falls on before work starts.
How fast are requests handled?
Foundation requests are handled within a few business days. Growth requests are handled next business day. Either way, we confirm each one back to you when it's done, so you're never wondering.
My site wasn't built by Bewebsy. Can you still care for it?
Usually, yes. Plenty of the sites we care for were built by a friend, a nephew who's since gone back to college, or a freelancer who's long gone. No judgment; that's how most small business websites start. We begin with a review of the site's condition. If it needs repairs first, a Website Fix or Refresh gets it to a maintainable state, and care continues from there.
What if my site gets hacked anyway?
If a site under our care is compromised, we restore it to pre-hack condition at no additional cost, either from a backup or through cleanup. There's no limit on hack-related restorations. That's part of care, not an upsell.
Can I cancel?
Yes, anytime. Your site and content are yours. If you leave, we hand over everything cleanly, including backups and documentation.
Do I ever need to log in or run updates myself?
No. That's the product. You send an email, and we take care of it. On sites we build, you also get a simple editor for your own content changes, one that can't break the design. If your site was built by someone else, self-editing depends on how it was made. We'll show you what's safe to touch during the handover.
